A Three Session Series to Inspire Employees to Make Healthy Changes
If your business is ready to inspire its employees to make lifestyle changes, Live a More Vital Life is a perfect place to start. This three part series is taught during lively, interactive lunch or after-hours sessions. Participants will take away critical information and will be motivated to make changes. In addition to the classes, all participants are able to contact me anytime during the three week session for support, to answer questions or for additional resources. Not every company can afford costly “per employee” wellness plans touted by clinical and often impersonal services. Week 1: Why Changes are Important to Living a Vital Life
This session looks at what your body really needs. Did you know that if you are short on a nutrient, say vitamin D, selenium or vitamin B12, your brain has to make the decision what organ gets the nutrient? After years of not getting nutrients, guess what happens to your organs? That’s right, they start to decline or break down. This session addresses the importance of getting nutrients from your food and the benefits of a whole food diet.
Week 2: What Should You Change for a More Vital Life
The second week we look at the culprits keeping us from living a life full of energy and vitality. In this session we look at the effects of sugar, chemical-filled food (or fake food as I like to call it) and stress. These three things cause our bodies to decline. With visual demonstrations and eye-opening statistics from top medical studies participants begin to see that what goes in their bodies really does have a long term effect on their health.
Week 3: How do you Make Changes to Stay Vital
A person can be educated about the harm an unhealthy lifestyle causes, and still not be motivated to make changes. Using coaching techniques that include setting goals and holding yourself accountable, participants in this session will learn how to implement changes.
